It is unnecessary to dwell on the importance of Father Boylan's latest book. Through his earlier works, countless people are familiar with the originality of his thought and his very practical approach to problems of the spiritual life.

Here he deals with the priest's way to sanctity or, more precisely, that of the diocesan priest whose life, in his words, "is so difficult that any attempt to help him, no matter how inadequate, needs no justification."
