Description
These three volumes of Meditations are based on the familiar plan of Preparation, Points, Colloquy and Resolution and follow in chronological sequence the Church's year from Advent to the last Sunday after Pentecost. Special Meditations are in addition provided for Sundays, the Major Feasts, for some of the more important Days of Devotion, for First Fridays and all the Saturdays of the year. The dominant themes are the Life, Ministry and Passion and Resurrection of our Lord, both in relation to His status and teaching as well as to their impact on the lives of those who came into contact with Him. All aspects of the mystery of Redemption are presented in clear, simple and direct language which gives these writings an equal appeal to those who wish to follow a course of spiritual reading and to those who would use them but occasionally.
