About the Authors
Jenean Romberg is presently the Elementary Grades Art Specialist for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, and teaches art for elementary teachers at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. She has directed the arts and crafts program for the City of Mesa Recreation Department and taught elementary school both in California and Scotland. Miss Romberg has done graduate work in California, Irvine, and Pepperdine Universities, in addition to writing a recreation arts and crafts manual, "Things to Do Without a Big Mess." She was also in charge of art shows and co-ordinated televised art lessons for closed circuit educational TV.
Miriam Rutz is presently teaching delineation at the University of Arizona and working for Guy S Greene & Associates as a Landscape Architect. She was an elementary teacher and Art Co-ordinator in the Amphitheater School District of Tucson, Arizona, and worked as an Art Specialist in conjunction with Miss Romberg for the Newport-Mesa District. She did graduate work at the University of California, and did presentation and layout work for sigteplanning firms in San Francisco andf Anaheim.
