Description
From the fact of Jesus Christ arose "a movement of life and spiritual renewal, a revolutionary universe within the order of human existence.

"To become a Christian is to enter into this movement with every human potentiality, to allow its indwelling, to be directed by its energy, to be subject to its dynamism."

That is how the author opens this profound study of the basic concepts of living in Christ.

It is only possible for man to come to know the God of Jesus Christ, that is, to live the truly Christian life, through "conversion." By this the author does not mean the conversion of non-Christians to Christianity, but the process by which a Christian reorders his life towards the Absolute.

In this conversion, the axis of existence changes; human values, formerly considered absolute, are now seen as subordinate to divine values.

Once this conversion has opened the way into the true Christian life, the Christian becomes an imitator of Christ Himself, attempting by prayer and renunciation to assimilate his will to God's. He is on the road to sanctity, and it is in the saints that the true fullness of Christian life is realized.

The author has presented these concepts in clear, beautiful language, making this book an invaluable guide for all Christians who aspire to lead the full life of the spirit.
